"Craft a magical bowl of noodles at home and slurp away to your heart's content."
I've said it before and I'll say it again. We love food in our house. My kids in particular adore Asian inspired food: Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. So imagine my excitement when I got my little mitts on Slurp.
Many teens adore ramen, mine included. There's always some Samyang Buldak Ramen in our larder for those speedy meals when the kids are in a rush.
But we also love to create. We've cooked with most types of noodles - glass, rice, ramen, udon and egg noodles and my daughter's also delved into rice paper. But this is another level. Think Wagamama at home. But better.
Luckily we had many of the pantry essentials already but we've loved adding to these and experimenting with some truly new dishes. There's a real selection of simple yet delicious meals when you're short on time, as well as more advanced creations for when you have more time or are looking to impress.
The Yakisoba was made the first day of getting the book (yum!), the Kewpie Mayo Noodles aka a soupy carbonara will definitely become a regular in our house and I can't wait to make the Birria Taco Ramen next. Whether you're looking for noodle dishes with or without broth, Slurp has it all. A beautiful book inside and out and I can't recommend it enough.
