The Unravelling Synopsis
Middle-aged Karen is suddenly reminded of an incident from her childhood and just as suddenly finding Serena Whinn becomes an obsession. As she tracks down her playmates from Marsh Green Junior School, Karen finds herself on a journey into a land of secrets and lies. Getting to the truth, finding Serena Whinn, means upsetting the careful attempts all the girls have made to build normal lives for themselves in the aftermath of the disappearance of poor little Janice. Everyone wanted to be Serena’s friend, but doing so meant proving your worth and doing that often had consequences it wasn’t nice to think about…even thirty-five years on.
But Karen’s memories of Janice and Serena are not to be trusted, and only when she finally confronts Serena is the real danger revealed.

About Thorne Moore
Thorne Moore was born in Luton but has lived in in the back of beyond in north Pembrokeshire for 32 years. She has degrees in History and Law, worked in a library and ran a family restaurant as well as a miniature furniture craft business, which is still in production, but she now concentrates on writing psychological crime mysteries.
