I Can't Wait! As the end of the week is almost here, as a little girl tells how she feels each day of the week, until she finally sees her dad on Sunday who has been away for a year. This is a rhyming read a-aloud that expresses from a child's point a view the anticipation, excitement and build up of missing her dad who is away in the military and how much she cant wait to see him. This book not only focuses on the days of the week, rhyming words, feelings and family, ' I Can't Wait,' shows how a child goes from feeling sad to happy, as she finally sees her dad.
