LoveReading Says
One of those books that picks you up by the scruff of your neck and doesn’t put you down until you’ve reached the glorious end. Three groups battle for survival in a coach crash, a cable car breakdown, and power outage at a remote chalet. Three locked-room mysteries await yet this books sits within several genres, but I won’t reveal any more of the synopsis as this is a reading journey you truly need to discover for yourself. While the plot is viciously stunning, the characters are beautifully rounded and authentic and the premise is so very clever, my mind almost spun itself inside out as I read. C. J. Tudor has created an intensely atmospheric setting that plays as much a part as the characters themselves. The weather conditions chill as convincingly as the plot creates havoc in your thoughts. As each jagged slice of the jigsaw began to bind together, a startling vivid image was created, and left me feeling blindsided within The Drift. Chosen as both a LoveReading Star Book, and a Liz Pick of the Month, this comes with congratulations and a standing ovation from me. The Drift successfully taunts, unnerves, and dangles preconceptions above an avalanche ledge of suspense.

The Drift Synopsis
Survival can be murder . . .
During a deadly snowstorm, Hannah awakens to carnage, all mangled metal and shattered glass. Evacuated from a secluded boarding school, her coach careered off the road, trapping her with a handful of survivors.
Meg awakens to a gentle rocking. She's in a cable car stranded high above snowy mountains, with five strangers and no memory of how they got on board.
Carter is gazing out of the window of an isolated ski chalet that he and his companions call home. As their generator begins to waver in the storm, the threat of something lurking in the chalet's depths looms larger.
Outside, the storm rages. Inside one group, a killer lurks.
But which one?
And who will make it out alive?
