An excellent read and a good insight into how families can be torn apart by military conflict. It is a role-reversal tale for it is the wife and mother, Jolene, who is deployed to Afghanistan, she is a helicopter pilot. The father, Michael, is left with the kids and his demanding lawyer's practice. Things are pretty stretched but they get a hundred times worse when Jolene comes home. Sensitive and poignant this is a heart-wrenching read.
