A riveting book that I found hard to put down. A young mother disappears in a novel that explores how physical and sexual abuse can have a devastating effect on future relationships and how we protect ourselves from past memories. It’s a fast-paced thriller which makes rather uncomfortable reading in parts but builds and builds as each new piece of evidence, each new suspect is presented to us. Excellent.
