Well 2020 was a lot of things but certainly on the books front, it didn't disappoint.

For those book lovers amongst us, we had even more time to read and we were joined by millions who rediscovered books during lockdown.

There were some beautiful books published in 2019, books that continue to fly even now, books like Where The Crawdads Sing and The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse and there were plenty more absolutely stunning books that we adored here at LoveReading in 2020.

Every month we read dozens and dozens of books selected from the thousands published. Our experts' remit is to select books right across the genres, keep an eye on your favourite authors as well as find the best new debut authors about. We want to ensure that you have a steady stream of reading recommendations to keep your to-be-read pile stocked with great books. Life's too short to read books that are below-par.
