At twelve, Stein-Rock became enraptured by a mystery. He was baptized in the Southern Baptist, attended Methodist, Anglican, Church of God, and Catholic congregations, was a deacon in an AME Zion, and danced with his cymbal in Holiness churches. But even as a child he could see that what the Church was saying about Scriptures was not what they actually reveal. He came to realize that only by questioning Church leaders can we reveal Jesus' true message. And that as the Church suppresses the truth of Scriptures, it has unwittingly embraced something akin to a Devil's Codex.
