Richard Calland is a Constitutional Lawyer and political analyst. Associate Professor of Public Law at the University of Cape Town and Director of Idasa's Economic Governance Programme, he is also Secretary-General of the African Network of Constitutional Lawyers and a founder member of the Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution (CASAC).
