Rachel Cooper OBE is Distinguished Professor of Design Management and Policy at Lancaster University, UK. She is Chair of the Lancaster institute for the Contemporary Arts, and also a visiting professor at the Royal College of Art. She has written several books, including Designing Sustainable Cities and The Handbook of Wellbeing and the Environment. She is also series editor of the Bloomsbury series Design for Social Responsibility, which covers designing for sustainability, inclusivity, service design, sport, health, transport and policy. She is founding editor of The Design Journal and also founding President of the European Academy of Design.

Sabine Junginger leads the Competency Center for Design and Management at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland. She has been a fellow at the Hertie School of Governance, Germany since 2009, and is also a visiting professor at both Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, Germany and Jian
