Qiang Ye received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2016. From December 2016 to September 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo. Since September 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Technology, Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN, USA. His research interests include network slicing for 5G networks, edge intelligence for autonomous vehicular networks, artificial intelligence for future networking, protocol design, and performance analysis for the Internet of Things.
