Peter Ball is a Professor of Operations Management at The York Management School, UK. His research focuses on how operations can be designed and improved. Application areas span manufacturing, supply chain and service. Responsible business, environmental sustainability and resource efficiency feature strongly in his work. Peter has published his work in numerous papers globally in journals, conferences and practitioner publications. He is a Chartered Engineer (IET) and Senior Fellow of the UK's Higher Education Academy.  Luisa Huaccho is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management at The York Management School. Previously, she was a Lecturer in Operations & Business Processes at the Leeds University Business School. She obtained her D.Phil. from the University of Oxford. She is a co-Track chair of the British Academy of Management, Performance Management Track. She is the Co-Editor for the International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management (IJPPM).
