One of Britain's greatest-ever equestrians, Nick Skelton was born in Warwickshire in 1957. Having won team gold in London at his eighth Olympic Games in Rio, 2016, he won the individual gold medal, the first British rider ever to do so, proving himself one of Britain's most durable sports stars.
