Jeng-Shyang Pan received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, M.S. in Communication Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1988, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Edinburgh, UK, in 1996. He is a Professor at College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology and Fujian University of Technology, and an Adjunct Professor at Flinders University, Australia. He joined the editorial board of the International Journal of Innovative Computing, Information and Control, LNCS Transactions on Data Hiding and Multimedia Security, Journal of Information Assurance and Security, Journal of Computers, International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics, and the Chinese Journal of Electronics. His research interests include soft computing, information security, and big data mining. He has published more than 300 journal and 400 conference papers, 35 book chapters, and 22 books
