Jay Caldwell, the son of Erskine Caldwell, is the medical director for the Center for Drug Problems, in Anchorage, AK, USA as well as an independent scholar of literature. In 2014, he received his Ph.D. in English from the University of Arizona, and holds an A.B. in anthropology from Harvard College.
