Dr. V. Sridhar obtained his B.E. from University of Mysore in Electronics and Communication Engineering, M.E. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) from Jadavpur University, Calcutta and Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He carried out his Post Doctoral Research at Dept. of Electrical and Electronics, University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. Dr. Sridhar has been working as a Principal of PES College of Engineering for last 4 years and has been associated with this Institute since 1980, from beginning of his career. His fields of interest include VLSI Design, Digital Signal Processing, Bio-medical Engineering & Instrumentation and Cognitive studies, Computer and Mobile communications. He was also the Registrar (Evaluation) at Visweswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. He has presented and published many papers in National and International peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has also been a guiding force for M.Sc and Ph.D student
