Dr. Hung Nguyen Xuan (H. Nguyen-Xuan) is Director of Center for Interdisciplinary Research (CIRTech), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Hutech), Vietnam. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from The University of Liège (Belgium) in 2008. He has collaborated with leading research institutions and universities around the world such as National University of Singapore (NUS), Bauhaus-University Weimar (Germany), University of Cincinnati (USA), Cardiff University (UK) and Ghent University (Belgium). He is currently an adjunct professor at The University of Southern Queensland (Australia), a visiting professor at Sejong University (South Korea) and China Medical University (Taiwan). He is President of Vietnam Association of Computational mechanics. His researches focus on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) for advanced development of robust computational methods with high performance computing.
