Feng Gao received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2009. From 2008 to 2009, he was a research fellow in Nanyang Technological University. Since 2010, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University, where he is currently a professor at School of Control Science and Engineering. From September 2006 to February 2007, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. His research interests include topological design, pulse width modulation, and control of grid-tied power converters. He has published more than 180 research papers in premium international journals and conferences. Dr. Gao is an IEEE senior member.
