Dr. Wassermann is a clinical neurologist and neurophysiologist and a leading expert in the uses of transcranial brain stimulation to measure and modulate brain function. His research interests include neurobehavioral disorders and the control of action and emotion by the frontal lobe. He heads the Brain Stimulation Unit at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and serves as a Senior Medical Advisor on chemical terrorism in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. The rest of the time, he can be found sailing or at home with his family. Tomás Paus is Professor and Chair in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham, and Adjunct Professor in the Dept of Neurology & Neurosurgery and the Dept of Psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His research concerns the structural and functional organization of the human cerebral cortex and its maturation during adolescence. The main strategies employed in this research are: (1) in vivo mor
