Once described as "tough and smart like one of those girls that hung around outside the chip shop...and made you nervous 'cos they'd cut you with a word or a look," Elise Hadgraft has been peddling her peculiar brand of punk poetry around the country for over a decade.
Her side project 'corporationpop' was formed in 2017 as a 100% DIY affair, blending kitchen sink electro beats with Northern rhyme schemes. It opened a great deal more doors than initially anticipated...although she takes perverse pleasure in pointing out the entire thing began as a stunt to piss off her ex.
Unfortunately, much as she'd like to list the rest of her accolades, she's only been sober for six months and doesn't remember most of them. She has been reliably informed she did "some pretty cool shit" though and Jarvis Cocker once shared his chips with her.
