With 30 years in the National Health Service behind her, mainly as Commissioner for Mental Health, Dorothy is pursuing long held ambitions, to grow a forest and to write. She persuaded her parents to write their autobiographies, which she published in 2021. At Margaret's funeral, she decided a biography would be the most suitable tribute to her memory.
