Chuan-zheng Yanggraduated from Shanghai University of Science and Technology in 1963, majoring in metal physics. From 1963 to 1988, he was engaged in the research of material physics and applications of X-ray diffraction and electron microscope at Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, CAS. He worked as a full professor at the Department of Physics, Shanghai University, from 1993 to 1999.
Yuwan Louobtained doctorate from Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2007. She has been engaged in the research of chemical power supply and related materials since 1993 and has participated in more than 20 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. She has also published more than 30 articles in peer-review journals and has 20 patents.
