Anjana K. Vala is a PhD in Microbiology. She is associated with Department of Life Sciences, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University and involved in PG teaching and research for last 20 years. Her research areas of interest include marine microbial diversity, bioremediation and nanobiotechnology. She has supervised several PG dissertations. Dr. Vala is a recipient of DST Fasttrack young scientist, CSIR SRA and DST Women Scientists (WOS-A) fellowship. She has above 60 publications and one patent (filed in India) to her credit. Dushyant R. Dudhagara is a faculty member at the Department of Life Sciences, Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University for last two years. He is a PhD in Microbiology and recipient of National Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Dr. Dudhagara’s research areas of interest include marine microbial bioremediation especially of PAHs.
