Yafeng Duan, daughter of an artist, studied traditional Chinese painting at the CAFA - Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing, China from 1999-2001. In 2005 she moved to the Bauhaus University Weimar; From 2009 to 2011 she studied western painting with Robert Lucander, University of the Arts Berlin. The artist lives and works in Berlin.
