AB Abdullah obtained his PhD from the Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. Now, he is working at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, with more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research. His research interests include precision sheet metal forming, tool and die design, and wire arc additive manufacturing. He has published more than 100 research papers in various international journals. He has written ten books including as an editor for a research book entitled Hole-Making Technologies for Composites: Advantages, Limitations and Potential, published by Woodhead Publishing, Elsevier, UK in 2019. He is actively involved as a reviewer for the International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Springer, USA), the Journal of Material Processing Technology and Measurements (Elsevier), and the Journal of Testing and Evaluation (ASTM International).
