Heroine's Journey (With Anne Shirley And Jo March)
What an amazing episode! My guest Star is here to talk to us about the 'heroine's journey'. The heroine's journey came about in 1990 when Maureen Murdock, a psychologist published a book called The Heroine's Journey: Woman's Quest for Wholeness. My guest Star is here to talk to us about Heroine's Journey and we are discussing the heroine's journey in Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and Jo's heroine's journey in Little Women. I was told that Gilbert's proposal to Anne in the 80s AOGG is almost exactly the same as Laurie's proposal to Jo in 1933 Little Women. Of course, I had to check if this was true and I have recorded these two proposals and mine and Star's reactions. It is an interesting detail and I think it might be one of the reasons why so many people somehow link Anne and Gil and Jo and Laurie together. Oh Hollywood what do you do to us?

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. Laurie And Adaptive Attractiveness (Little Women Essay): Where Is The Brown Skin Laurie?
Ready to unravel the mystery of Laurie and Adaptive Attractiveness? He Has Brown Skin. in this episode I will be focusing to the fact that he doesn't have that in the movies, and I am going explore the possible reasons why Laurie has written to have brown skin in Little Women, and investigate whether or not this was intentional. In Little Women, Louisa May Alcott wrote that Laurie has 'curly black hair, black eyes and brown skin', but Laurie has never been played by a brown-skinned actor. Little Women Podcast is an ongoing series of video essays, articles and podcast episodes that examines the intersections in Louisa May Alcott´s Little Women. Here´s what listeners have said about the Little Women podcast: Jen As a long-time, die-hard Little Women fan, I LOVE this podcast!
