SCIENCE QUESTIONED RELIGIOUS CONCEPTS, WAS RELIGION RIGHT ALL ALONG? DOES RELIGION HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR EVOLUTION? ARE OUR RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS INCOMPLETE? IS UNIVERSAL RELIGIOUS UNITY POSSIBLE? WHAT IS RELIGIONS’ ROLE IN CLIMATE CHANGE, CONSERVATIONS ETC.? DOES ALL OUR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY HAVE A RELIGIOUS BASIS? “Humanity’s Inflection Point” provides positive answers and the pathway to accomplishment of all the above and reintroduces: 1. We all exist in the presence of the Living, Omnipresent, Omnipotent God 2. All knowledge comes from the Almighty God. God willing, this work will serve to be the starting point for the awakening of the masses to reject the cult of personality that many religious leaders seek to create, to start the reversal of the animosities that have been fostered for thousands of years by religious leaders and be part of the process that leads to the eventual elevation of all humanity.

We know precious little of the man called Barabbas, a contemporary of Jesus of Nazareth. He is variously described in the historical record as thief, murderer, rebel, and notable Roman prisoner. His release by the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate was part of the supernal plan for the Christ to offer himself as the ultimate blood sacrifice, but it’s doubtful Barabbas understood any of that at the time. Many have wondered what became of him, or rather, who he became after that fateful day. Someday we will know the answer, but in the meantime, we can imagine that, like all of us, he too sought a path of personal redemption, imperfectly.

There’s been a murder. An eyewitness has come forward, and the killer has confessed. But there’s a problem. The two are conjoined twins, literally joined at the hip since birth. For the police, keeping the murderer in custody means locking up his innocent brother along with him—an untenable situation. The frustrated legal system wrestles with how to prosecute a murderer who is apparently immune from punishment, as any attempt to exact justice would surely affect his conjoined twin. It appears there can be no satisfactory outcome. That is until a surprising discovery is made.

This book will help a person with a plan, yet funding caused everything to come to a complete stop. It will also help someone bridge the distance between ambition and destiny. I sometimes look at it as my bridge to fulfill my purpose in life. I feel that knowledge is power. So many people don't understand financial institutions. I feel I need to share the information with people to help someone. I found myself in this position after I graduated from college. I had a degree but no job. I had goals and ambitions to get to that point in life. I just didn't understand how to get my plan funded past this point. I had 65,000 dollars in debt from loans in college, so my social security number was just a little over-leveraged. I had no idea what an EIN number was at the time.

THE SCHEFTER SHIFT: A Tale of Murder and Deception
The story opens in 1954 with the main character: Anne Schefter, a 28 year old U.S. Constitutional law expert, currently unemployed ever since concluding a position as associate campaign manager in Helen Gagahan-Douglas' upsetting loss of a U.S. Senatorial race in 1950 against Richard M. Nixon. Anne is approached by her Stanford law school friend, Natalie (Nat) Gottlieb, now a tax lawyer for a law firm in San Francisco. The firm requires a person knowledgeable about constitutional law issues to assist in defending their client's appeal. The client, Rick Guidotti, is serving a ten year Federal sentence in Alcatraz for counterfeiting. However, Guidotti is now being charged for the 1948 murder of his paramour, Margaret (Margie) D. Rimeri, in her chalet in Lake Tahoe. Margie's husband, Leon Rimeri, is a mob boss in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Her body was discovered by a farmer plowing his remote field in Woodland, CA. It turns out that two of Rimeri's men transported the body there after finding it lifeless in the chalet (or so they say). Guidotti was previously employed by Rimeri's gang as an enforcer and collector of debts. A unique complication is that Margie was 2 months pregnant and the DA seeks first degree murder counts and the death penalty for both homicides. Anne is recruited to defend Guidotti on the criminal charges that the senior partner, Carmine Cavilieri, considers a false allegation. Criminal defense matters are a significant shift from Anne's regular legal expertise but she agrees to be "of counsel." Noteworthy to the case is Margie's music box with a secret compartment that holds key data to the whole Rimeri network of crimes. A vagueness of blood typing, confounding of paternity, alibis, and exactly what type of weapon was used during the homicide complicates the defense's arguments during the trial. But who really committed the homicide is an enigma left unsolved? An audiobook produced by e-Audio Productions

The Sales Focused CEO:: Looking at Business Through a New Lens
Companies fear looking at changes or improvements to their sales forces for good reason: sales are the engine that drives revenue. No matter how patched up or sputtering that engine may be, the mere thought of overhauling it fills CEOs and senior executives alike with dread. Companies will make ongoing, piecemeal repairs as long as they can in a vain attempt to keep revenue flowing. They will tolerate behavior and performance from sales and marketing that would not be tolerated in any other areas of the business. For CEOs, there comes a point where changes or improvements must be made to these two areas of a business if growth is to continue. The world is not static, and sales and marketing organizations cannot be allowed to stagnate and to operate using now-primitive thinking. These business units are the last frontier for CEOs to address in business improvement. Fear of the unknown, and the use of the wrong lens for viewing the business, are the greatest barriers to overcome. The first step for any CEO is to become empowered with the knowledge of how the sales and marketing business should function; only then can he or she hope to become competitive and deliver profitable growth in today’s ultracompetitive market. Most of the information that people are exposed to has been written by former middle managers of sales and marketing units. Such information is narrow in content and is focused on compensation plans, training, and ingenuous reporting. This book is written by a CEO, for CEOs like you, and is based on more than twenty-five years of consulting with CEOs in business turnarounds and profit improvement. This work views the broader demands of business that you, as a sales-focused CEO, must deal with; it establishes the thinking that you will require for reassessing your marketing and sales forces. This book gives you a new lens for viewing your business and teaches you how to drive growth above industry standards and increase profitability.

Ernesto Vera is walking home from his job at a taco truck when three guys jump out of a car and assault him. Ernesto's not in a gang, he's not involved, but his sister is - and when Payasa hears that her innocent brother has been murdered, she wants revenge. As widespread rioting breaks out across the city, Ernesto's death triggers an astonishing sequence of events, not just for the gangs involved, but for the firefighters, nurses and law enforcement who must deal with the consequences. In April 1992, after one of the most notorious, racially charged trials in American history, the city of L.A. exploded in violence. All Involved tells the interconnected stories of seventeen characters over six life-changing days, and transforms the truly extraordinary story of the L.A. riots into a vivid, electrifying and addictive work of fiction.

A propulsive and ambitious novel as electrifying as The Wire, from a writer hailed as the West Coast's Richard Price; a mesmerizing epic of crime and opportunity, race, revenge, and loyalty, set in the chaotic streets of South Central L.A. in the wake of one of the most notorious and incendiary trials of the 1990s At 3:15 p.m. on April 29, 1992, a jury acquitted three white Los Angeles Police Department officers charged with using excessive force to subdue a black man named Rodney King, and failed to reach a verdict on the same charges involving a fourth officer. Less than two hours later, the city exploded in violence that lasted six days. In nearly 121 hours, fifty-three lives were lost. But there were even more deaths unaccounted for: violence that occurred outside of active rioting sites by those who used the chaos to viciously settle old scores. A gritty and cinematic work of fiction, All Involved vividly re-creates this turbulent and terrifying time, set in a sliver of Los Angeles largely ignored by the media during the riots. Ryan Gattis tells seventeen interconnected first-person narratives that paint a portrait of modern America itself; laying bare our history, our prejudices, and our complexities. With characters that capture the voices of gang members, firefighters, graffiti kids, and nurses caught up in these extraordinary circumstances, All Involved is a literary tour de force that catapults this edgy writer into the ranks of such legendary talents as Dennis Lehane and George V. Higgins.
