Serious Joy: Reflections and Devotions on Jonathan Edward's Seventy Resolutions
“In Serious Joy, Joey Tomlinson introduces readers to the seventy Resolutions Jonathan Edwards wrote when he was only nineteen years old, showing how they are directly relevant and needful for Christians today. Each resolution is expounded on by Tomlinson in a way that helps the reader establish a regular rhythm of private worship by pointing them to the Scriptures that underpin each resolution. Furthermore, Tomlinson harmonizes the resolutions with other writings of Edwards that bring them into better focus. The goal of this approach is to exalt Christ, foster meditation and prayer, and demonstrate how serious joy in Christ leads to growth in Christlikeness. All of this is accomplished by tethering the reader to the theology of Jonathan Edwards. In so doing, Tomlinson succeeds in bringing a fresh approach to the writings of Edwards by making them more approachable for the Christian who wants to understand the significance and importance of Edwards’ contribution to Christian theology.

The Baptism of Disciples Alone: A Covenantal Argument for Credobaptism Versus Paedobaptism
As a former Presbyterian minister, I baptized two of my infants. I was sincere. It was meaningful. I believed that infant baptism (paedobaptism) was biblical. However, I was sincerely and biblically wrong. Now, I am convinced that the baptism authorized by the Bible is the baptism of disciples. In fact, I believe the Bible authorizes the baptism of disciples alone. This position may also be called credobaptism, from the Latin verb credo, meaning believe or trust. Other designations are believer’s baptism, confessor’s baptism, or professor’s baptism, all synonyms describing the baptism of disciples alone. Hoping to be gracious toward my paedobaptist friends and mentors, the purpose of this book is to prove that the Bible authorizes only disciple’s baptism. This book is also written, however, to help parents, pastors and laymen better understand the Baptist position for credobaptism versus paedobaptism so they can decide which local church to join and serve in.

Life in the Body of Christ: Privileges and Responsibilities in the Local Church
' Life in the Body of Christ is a must read for every Christian. Every age group in every evangelical church should make it a point to study this book chapter by chapter, look seriously at every suggestion, and meditate on every Scripture suggested for that purpose. Curtis Thomas has given us a gift, a stimulus to edifying reflection and action on every pertinent aspect of corporate and individual responsibility and privilege to be pursued in the life of a local church. His suggestions are brief but turgid with biblical insight and healthy church experience. His questions are provocative of the most Christ-honoring train of thought. The variety of subjects that he introduces prompts a real seriousness about the comprehensiveness of Christian worship, discipleship, fellowship and witness. Don’t miss this simple but mature guide to an ever-increasing conformity to Christ-centered, Bible-warranted church life.'—Tom J. Nettles'

God's Plan: For Heaven, Eternity and the Universe Explained
I would like to begin by thanking my wonderful wife, Pamela, for continually encouraging me to write this book. The title of this book, God's Plan for Heaven, Eternity, and the Universe Explained, is exactly that. This book will help you to easily understand God's plan from the beginning of creation all the way to when the human race is over and everyone is living inside eternity with God or separated from God. The only thing that matters for every human being is eternity, and all of God's plan is about how to know him and spend it with him. This book is very different. It is written for everyone, from people with little or no Bible knowledge to even people with advanced knowledge of the Bible who will learn things that most have never even thought about before. God creating human beings, despite knowing we would sin against him from the very beginning and be born with a sinful nature, is by far the greatest thing God has ever done and will probably be the greatest thing he will ever do in all of eternity. The pleasure we bring him is incalculable, as you will see. This book will help you to understand not only what God has done in his plan, but more importantly why he has done it the way he has done it. Many will think this book is simply my opinion, but everything in this book is based directly on God's word in the Bible or indirectly based on what God has done according to his direct word in the Bible.
