This is a wonderful Young Adult novel written by Brian Stewart based on the classic Little Mermaid story from Hans Christian Anderson. When a young mermaid -Jenny fall in love with a Chinese fishermen who is fighting poisonous Red Fish that are harming the entire South China Sea. This is a grand adventure as Jenny her sisters as well as King Titano fight off the evil Sworders and pirates to keep the ocean from being ruined forever.
This is a wonderful story about Paco, a young man who leaves El Salvador to come to America to find work. Once he arrives in Arizona he is recruited to work for Big Pete who chops up stolen cars. Big Pete a wealthy man, is robbed and meets an untimely death at the hands of car thieves and Paco is framed on a false murder charge. Crooked Politicians, boxing legends, newscasters all take sides in Paco's struggle for freedom. America, the land of the free and home of the brave, is not a place for cowards. You have to fight to be free.
This is a fictional account of four high school buddies who are also neighbors. One is a young white male - Spike Mulligan who plays guitar sings and writes songs for revivals. The others Howie, Rufus and Ed are choir members of a black Baptist Church and ask him to sit in and play guitar in their church band and also to join their high school football team. The four become inseparable and dream of attending college together. Because of existing Alabama politics and racial prejudice they quickly realize it is not going to be that easy. The boys are drafted into the army and they all end up fighting in the jungles of Vietnam, they soon learn the only color that matters is red, representing their lives and the sacrifices they will make for one another. Only their status as returning war heroes can turn the Red Tide and swing open doors of opportunity that were unjustly locked for ages.
When the economy changes it is often necessary to either move or change your skill set to find an appropriate job that will support both you and your family. This is a great motivational book to encourage you not just to rely on others but to follow spiritual principles and shake the money tree. We are trees planted by the rivers of running waters. God promises to keep us watered and that if we pray and get us sustenance from prayer and bible reading that we will be fruitful.

This project began with a missionary journey to Akum, Ethiopia the Center of the Coptic Church and also the legendary home of the Temple housing the Ark of the Covenant -a magnificent religious work of art which featured two prominent golden Angels extended wings shrouding an ark containing the Ten Commandments, Aaron’s Rod and Manna. The novel picks up the story in the 1990's with an updated archeological discovery and an ensuing battle for control of the legendary Jewish symbol from the time of Solomon. Those in the region battle to exterminate any historical verification of the Jewish Scrolls found throughout the caves of the Middle East.
Megalomaniacs are trying to destroy the world, Adventurers are trying to help orphans, rescue the despondent and everyone is competing with a huge religious groups, trying to abscond with the ark. The characters are engaging. It is a fast moving evolving plot set in Detroit, Rome and Africa. It will not disappoint.
