At times referencing all religions but focusing mainly on the Bible and Christianity Embracing God In The Right Perspective With The Right Foundation of Faith In Him by Chris Tham is a detailed study that would assist anyone looking to explore their relationship with God.
Written in a way that is accessible, the ideas within this book are easy to follow along with, and the flow charts of some of the author's different arguments help to further demonstrate his point. The only formatting point I personally didn’t feel was necessary was the duplication of numbers each time they were included, once written as a word then included as numerals in brackets immediately after.
The author’s dedication, research and own passion for the subject shines through in his writing and the breadth of different subjects covered. They present their arguments with openness, including how different religions interpret similar messages as well as an atheist and agnostic view which makes the writing feel more considered and less “preachy”, for lack of a better descriptor. The use of examples from scripture throughout also made this an in-depth bible study that could be useful for those looking to explore their faith for the first time, or refresh and reaffirm their relationship with God.
