One of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies, Much Ado About Nothing is about two pairs ofovers, Benedick and Beatrice and Claudia and Hero. The former pair enjoy verbal battles and revel in the eloquent expression of their scorn for each other while Claudio and Hero engage in a more traditionalove affair. Beatrice and Benedick are tricked into admitting theirove and Claudio is tricked into believing Hero unfaithful to him the night before their wedding. The journey toiving happily ever after proves to be an arduous one for the characters, but for readers, it provides unmitigated delight and hilarity.
