Das Philosophische Evangelium Synopsis

English summary: In his interpretation of the Gospel of John, Joachim Ringleben focuses - in terms of theological and philosophical linguistics - on the connection between the logos of the origins and the logoi of Jesus. By looking at the key texts and their linguistic construction he reveals how the prologue is reflected virtually all through the Gospel and that the Gospel is consistently based upon it. Verse 1.18b at the end of the prologue, which contains key term "exegesato", starts the transition to the Gospel itself as a Gospel of speeches. Therefore, the Gospel proves itself to be completely defined by the following systematic thesis: wherever the worldly Jesus speaks, it is the eternal logos itself that speaks. As a consequence the words 'ego eimi' gain a special theological significance.
