‘Murray is someone to watch, her novel drives along with great gusto, there's plenty of fun to balance loss, it's boy meets girl but so refreshingly different.’ Teenage Reading Preview

About Tamsyn Murray
Tamsyn Murray's family was always on the move while she was growing up, which meant she changed schools a lot . Her teenage years were spent in the Lake District until she left to go to university in London, where she studied Archaeology and rocks. It’s best not to ask her about the rocks. She tends to start drooling.
Tamsyn has had many jobs over the years, from manager at a well known burger restaurant to estate agent. She spent seven years working in a primary school, an ideal job for someone who never really grew up. These days she helps schools make the most of their ICT system, which isn’t as boring as it sounds.
When she isn’t at work or writing, Tamsyn messes about on stage. She is at her happiest when wearing a princess dress pretending to be someone else and shows she has starred in include Hello Dolly!, Kiss Me Kate and Anything Goes. She sings a lot and not only in the shower. It drives her family mad. Occasionally, she auditions for Britain’s Got Talent. One day she might get past the first round.
