When a high-profile millionaire businessman is found brutally murdered at his luxury Abersoch home just before the wedding of his daughter, DI Ruth Hunter must uncover who killed him and why.

With a nefarious past in Liverpool, Ruth wonders if the man was the victim of 'a hit' in revenge for the past. Or due to the expensive art collection in the house, was it an attempted robbery gone wrong?

It soon becomes clear that the killer is someone who has come to stay at the mansion for the wedding. The suspects and motives are many.
