Vera and Albert have been married for forty-three years. At first, this marriage is domestic bliss, but once Albert retires from his job, he chooses to live out the rest of his days in lazy comfort, sat in his Parker Knoll armchair, whilst the helpless Vera is forced to look after his nutritional needs. The situation gets worse once the Covid-19 pandemic happens, forcing everyone to stay at home in a national lockdown. Tired of being a slave to Albert's every whim and finding him more trying than ever, Vera feels trapped. But once a Covid inspector arrives, their boring lockdown life is suddenly livened up in a peculiar way. The inspector's arrival threatens not only Albert's nutritional needs but also Vera's mementos from a past life...
