Max chose to sacrifice the town rather than lose Chloe once again. Afterwards, Max and Chloe moved to Seattle - but a year later, Max's abilities threatened to tear her apart. To stabalize her powers and her reality, Max jumped to another timeline - where Rachel was still alive. Though two years have passed, Max never forgot where she came from, and now with the help of Tristan - a boy with the power to "e;phase"e; out of reality - she's ready to push her powers to their limit if it means finally coming home.
