SPOT Synopsis

SPOT takes readers on a meditative and self-reflective journey through a Hanok, a traditional Korean home which is thoughtfully designed to create a space that pulsates with the rhythms of the wind, earth, and sky. 

Throughout SPOT Anna Lauren commemorates and establishes a lasting connection with the present moment, by stopping to observe the knots in the beautiful wood of the Hanok she calls home. It is within these tender moments, within what she sees in the lines of the walls and beams, that the book allows its readers a moment to daydream.

An exercise in slowing down and meditating, SPOT encourages the reader to reclaim their time, rekindle their inner child, and explore the limitless realm of curiosity and imagination through the beautiful backdrop of a staple of Korean culture and architecture.
