"An attractive guided journal to help you find your bravery."
The host of the Discovery+ series The Kindness Diaries and author of Go Be Kind, Leon Logothetis’ latest project takes what he’s learned so far about kindness and released that along the way he has also managed to discover bravery. Not the hero kind of bravery you may be imagining but the bravery to be open, vulnerable and authentically yourself. Logotheis has taken his experiences and compiled this guided journal with 24 ¾ ‘adventures’ to help you find your own bravery, from forging a connection with strangers to accepting your past, this book offers a variety of activities and opportunities to build on your bravery.
The layout of the journal is fun and engaging with eye-catching font changes and illustrations to emphasise each point. There is also, of course, space for you to track your thoughts, ideas and progress. I liked how accessible this journal is, and how the author shares his own journey and experience of each adventure while asking you to carry out each task. This and the task to find a bravery buddy brings a sense of community to a type of book that, for me, is usually a solo, introspective endeavour. Go Be Brave is a compelling book, filled with enthusiasm and encouragement to figure out what your ‘most magnificent life’ is, and the bravery to strive for it.
