"A fast-moving, provocative, and fabulously readable thriller which throws four young people against a group of far-right extremists."
Oh my word, this is one heck of an exciting and thought-provoking ride. Four online friends and super fans of a TV show unexpectedly meet their idol and then find themselves on the run from the police and a far-right group called the Legion. Author Luke Jennings wrote Code Name Villanelle which was the basis for the TV series Killing Eve. He has the ability to create characters who stamp their personality over each and every page. In #Panic the characters themselves encourage the reader to challenge bigotry as they sit within the most fabulously addictive story. While a thrilling road (and train) trip develops, this is all about the four superfans and their growing support and love for each other. All have been bullied and feel marginalised, all want the peace of living their life as they choose. This LoveReading Star Book and Liz Pick of the Month is just fabulous, I want more, please tell me there is more! #Panic is a vibrant, pacy, and gloriously punchy coming-of-age story, it thoroughly shakes and stirs thoughts while you quietly fall in love with Jaleesa, Kai, Ilya, and Dani.
