LoveReading Says

This follows the development of the country house Huntersbrook begun in Driving Home for Christmas where the family of three siblings and their appendages discovered from their mother that their home was under threat.  They decided to turn it into a luxury event centre, so that’s what is happening here.  You will appreciate this a great deal more if you read the earlier one first, mainly so you understand the dynamics of the siblings.  If you don’t then the three will appear pretty unpleasant people who you will eventually warm to.  If you know their background you will understand them better.  The narrative is divided in the main between the three of them.  It does turn into that expected uplifting family stuff the Irish are so good at but it’s a bit traumatic before you get there.  It’s good.
