A really immersive and captivating read - two interlinked stories in one - past and present overlapping and intertwining to create a brilliant plot. Brimming with interesting and quirky characters, all linked together in some way with the missing author, Richard Debden. A thoroughly enjoyable novel, perfect for readers who love quests.

It was a really enjoyable mystery and very well written with some interesting and intriguing characters along the way.

The author Richard Debden mysteriously disappears, presumed dead. On the anniversary of his disappearance, his ex-girlfriend receives a manuscript in the post, supposedly from Richard. She shares the manuscript with Richard's best friend Chris after the memorial service on the anniversary of his disappearance. The manuscript is a novel that seems to hint at the whereabouts of Richard. Amy and Chris set about unravelling the clues and the mystery within the manuscript of 'Dead Letters'. This is a very clever premise for a novel. It was a really enjoyable mystery and very well written with some interesting and intriguing characters along the way. I wasn't totally hooked by the story within the story at first, but I got into it more as the book went along.... Read Full Review
