The three volumes on "e;The Melanotropic Peptides"e; are the outcome of a conference of the same name that was held in Tucson, Arizona, from October 11-12, 1986. Volume III discusses the known mechanisms of action of the two melanotropic peptides, and concludes with a discussion of the possible biomedical applications of the melanotropins.
