May 2010 Book of the Month.
A kids’ social is moved from the youth centre to the local church for various reasons. The church goes up in flames and an autistic child leads most of the kids to safety. He is honoured as a hero …. then it looks as if he might have started the fire himself. This is powerful stuff that really holds tension right through. I loved it. Watch out for its sequel in August.
