When June’s publisher first gave me a taster of her first novel, Trust Nobody I was blown away by what I read. Something that was original and different from other fiction around. So original in fact that the publisher has created a new genre of the ‘Gangster saga’ for it to fit into. And, what an apt name for it. Broken Bodies is her second novel, is no less accomplished and as with her first novel features the gutsy Daisy who wants payback on a death in the first book. If you’ve not read June’s first novel, then imagine a cross between the tough urban world of a Martina Cole novel coupled with the warmth of a Catherine Cookson. That’s what you get with a June Hampson novel. You’ll love it.

Broken Bodies Synopsis
Daisy Lane returns to her home town of Gosport after a spell abroad. She's been getting over the bad times, having lost both her husband Kenny and her lover Eddie to violent deaths. Eddie was viciously murdered by London gangster Roy Kemp.
