Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table and forms around 75% of matter in the universe. It is also the primary component of the Sun. It is of interest to scientists on both a small and large scale, from quantum mechanics to cosmology. This book explores the journey of hydrogen from element to condensed matter with exotic physical properties and enormous technological promise as clean energy source and energy carrier. The first half of the book covers the physics of hydrogen and the second half covers the various uses of hydrogen.
