The study of "dust" in the solar system has greatly expanded in the last 20 years, spurred in large part by a variety of new observations including dust detectors and sensitive imagers on spacecraft such as Cassini, as well as advances in infrared and sub-mm observations of circumstellar dust. In addition, the explosion of discoveries of a wide variety of exoplanetary systems opens the door for studying dust in new types of planetary systems.  This book provides a comprehensive reference and text covering the dynamics of interplanetary and circumplanetary dust as well as dust near the surfaces of larger planetary bodies suchs as moons, comets and asteroids, with a focus is on the processes that control the life cycle of a dust particle in the solar system and its observational consequences.
