This series goes from strength to strength. Although you can read this as a stand alone it might help to have read the previous books for character development but still a thoroughly enjoyable read if you haven’t. This book focuses very much on the crime side and not too much romance but great plotting and writing keeps you glued form start to finish.
When the body of a young brunette is found, artfully positioned and marked by signs of prolonged torture, Lieutenant Eve Dallas is catapulted back nine years to a killer the media tagged 'The Groom' because he put silver rings on the fingers of his victims.
