Skilled with a sword and quick with her wit, Claire Stuart has learned to fend for herself. So when she's battling Highlanders and holding her own, she's offended when Graham Grant rides up on his white steed and assumes she is naught but a powerless, defenseless woman. En route to Edinburgh to rescue her beloved sister from the governor, Claire doesn't need an overbearing man to save her.
