About

D. Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Anglo-American Philosophy Synopsis

Spanning thirty years, from 1922 to 1952, the titles in this set present the thinking of key philosophers on both sides of the Atlantic. Three of the volumes are concerned with the eminent American philosopher Charles Peirce. Justus Buchler's Charles Peirce's Empiricism closely examines aspects of Peirce's philosophy. Chance, Love and Logic and The Philosophy of Peirce are both edited collections of Peirce's writings, the first published 1922, the second in 1950. The set also includes the classic work Philosophical Studies, by the famous philosopher G. E. Moore.
