LoveReading Says
Impossible had me giggling from the first page. An expletive ridden email sent to the wrong person forms a bond between Nick and Bee. Their online communication is easy, it’s everything else that’s about to make things complicated. When a planned meetup at Euston station doesn’t go to plan, their inevitable love story begins to unravel in an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you trying to figure out what could possibly happen next.
A brilliant story, with elements of You’ve Got Mail and Sliding Doors. I loved Nick and Bee, their easy going email exchanges are at the core of the book throughout, even as the narrative broadens and they search for other ways to be happy. As I was reading I didn’t know what was coming next, or whether there was going to be a happy ending. Those last two words set my heart soaring! At times I was tearing up and other times I was laughing out loud at the witty remarks, sarcastic comments or wonderfully quirky wider cast of characters. Impossible is a brilliantly inventive relationship story with funny bones and a heartwarming centre. Expect the unexpected and you won’t be disappointed.
